Bell Pepper Rice
For
those who like Bell Peppers , note down here's the recipe an aromatic Rice made
with Bell Peppers, Spices and Rice.
There
are not much ingredients used in the recipe, all ingredients are available in
local market. Try once at your home. This is the one of the antioxidant
immunity developed food. Try it once enjoy with your loved ones and serve with
any gravy dish like Mushroom and Panner

Ingredients
200 Grams
of Basmati Rice

Tbsp Oil
1
Tbsp Cummins Seeds
2
No’s of Cloves
2
No’s of Cardamoms
1
Small piece Cinnamon
2
No’s of Mace
2
No’s of Medium Onions Sliced

Sliced Bell Pepper

Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
1
Small Lemon
Salt
as Required
How it’s Made
Rinse 1 cup basmati rice very well in water ,
then soak rice water for 30 minutes.
Later drain and keep the rice aside., slice the onions thinly also slice the
capsicum. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker. Add the whole spices (Cumin Seeds,
Cardamoms, Cloves, Inch Cinnamon, Bay leaf & Mace) Saute till the spices crackle
and become fragrant. Then add the sliced onions. Stir very well and saute till the
onions become golden brown color. Now add the sliced Bell Pepper and Chopped Coriander
Leaves. Stir very well and saute of 5 minutes. Add the rice. Stir and saute for
a minute. Pour water and season with salt. Also add lemon juice stir and cover
the pressure cooker with its lid and pressure cook bell pepper rice on a medium
to high flame for 2 to 3 whistles. After reduce the steam open the lid and
gently fluffs the bell pepper rice. Serve hot hot delicious Bell Pepper Rice
with some gravy dish.
